Shipping Methods

We have been shipping live plants for over 11 years now, so we know how to get your plants safely to you! We ship all live plants bare root, meaning they do not come with a pot or soil. You will have to plant or pot them upon arrival.  We ship bare root to prevent the spread of potential pests and diseases that could be within the soil or pots.


Worried about your plant during shipping? No worries! As mentioned above, we have been and are still constantly perfecting our method of shipment for live items, meaning all live items leaving our care come with a Live Arrival Guarantee! Plus, all items ship with a USPS Tracking Number!

Most terrestrial plants are shipped USPS First Class, unless otherwise requested by the buyer. These rates run from $4.97 to $5.99 per plant. When purchasing multiple plants, we do combine shipping! Combined shipping is usually around $1.00 extra per each additional plant. 

Priority shipping for terrestrial plants usually run from $8.25 and up, depending on the weight of the package. Combined shipping for Priority mail is usually $1.00 extra per each additional plant.

Live Aquarium Fish, Shrimp, and Snails are shipped Priority Mail, to ensure the live arrival of the animals. We can also ship with Priority Express, contact us for inquiries on the costs for this service. 

When ordering live items in the mail, please be vigilant in tracking the order with the provided tracking number. When your order arrives please receive it promptly to make sure the items have arrived in excellent condition. Mailboxes can get hot or freezing, watching the tracking number helps ensures the items are received safely. 

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE

Live arrival guarantee is as follows:

Any live item(s) bought from this site is guaranteed to arrive alive! We take pride in our shipping skills, and work constantly to improve our shipping. However, sometimes no matter how well we pack the items, an item may perish in the shipping process. In the unlikely event that an item or items arrive dead, within 1 hour of delivery, we will work with you to replace the item or refund the cost of the item to you. Shipping costs are non-refundable. The shipping cost is spent when the shipping label is printed, therefore cannot be refunded. 

To qualify for the guarantee, you will be required to show us proof that the item is dead, within 1 hour of confirmed delivery, in the form of at least 2 photos. The more photos the better. The photos will have to be well taken to show us that the item(s) did in fact not make it. If the claim is made after 1 hour of the confirmed delivery time, provided by the tracking number, the guarantee is void. No exceptions.  If you order live items in the mail, be prepared to track and receive the items promptly when delivered. We do not ship outside the Continental USA.
