Monstera

Monstera, also known as the Split-Leaf Philodendron, is a large, climbing plant often used in large homes and living spaces. Smaller plants start off with whole leaves that have no lobes. As the plant ages, it develops its signature look. Being a slightly slower growing plant contributes to the higher value when purchasing them.

Swiss Cheese Plant (Monstera adansonii) is a smaller Monstera that vines beautifully. The more moisture you give this plant, the larger its leaves and stems become! We have some growing in our aquarium and some in the window sill, and the aquarium grown Swiss Cheese is so much more robust! Its name comes from its signature holes that are present even in younger plants.
