The Ric Rac (Disocactus anguliger), also known as the Fishbone Cactus, is a unique epiphytic cactus similar to Orchid Cacti! The stems are deeply lobed and elongated, giving it the appearance of a fishbone from early cartoons, hence the common name. With the right care, mature specimens will bloom in brilliant pink-white flowers that are large and showy. Looks great planted in hanging baskets, it does enjoy higher humidity than other cacti, although it can grow perfectly fine in normal conditions.  Basic care is similar to Christmas and Thanksgiving cactus.
