The Umbrella Palm is a classic pond and bog plant that looks amazing in medium to large ponds as a background or focal point plant.  Its size ranges from 4 ft to 8 ft, depending on its container (or lack thereof). The tops of this reed like plant open up into individual leaves that together, resembles a palm frond. This tropical plant looks great in Water Gardens!  Mature specimens are breathtaking! It is drought tolerant once established, however it really shines when kept moist.
